Mingfa traces its origins to a small pushcart in the alleyways of Chinatown, where Lim Chye Kang sold his handmade fishballs with noodles to a small but loyal customer base in 1946. The business was passed down from father to son twice, and more than 70 years on, the third generation has overseen an expansion of the family business - from a single pushcart in the ‘40s to thirteen outlets islandwide, as well as franchises in Jakarta.
